Personal Artist Statement: I am an artist by nature. I was born in San Antonio and have lived here all my life. My
parents taught me values, independence and to have self-confidence in everything I did in life. My current artwork
involves the use of gourds and other natural material. My art is an expression of my life and historcal events.
